Size Guide

Clover Socks come in two sizes, based on your everyday shoe size. There's nothing to measure and no chart to decode.

Find your size

Size U.S. women's shoe size U.S. men's shoe size
Medium (sock size 9–11) 7.5 – 10 6 – 8
Large (sock size 10–13) 10.5 – 13.5 9 – 12

Between sizes? Go up. A sock that's a touch long is comfortable; a sock that's a touch short pulls at the toe seam all day.

About the wide calf

Our crew and compression styles are knit with a wider, longer ribbed top than a standard sock, so the cuff sits flat instead of cutting a line into your leg. It comfortably fits calves up to about 20 inches around at the widest point. If your calf is larger than that, email us before you order — we'll tell you honestly whether these will work for you.

About the compression

Our Wide Calf Bamboo Compression socks are knit at 15–20 mmHg, graduated — firmest at the ankle, easing as it goes up the calf. That's the everyday range most people mean when they say "compression socks," and it's the level typically worn for long days on your feet, desk work, and travel. If you've been told to wear a specific compression level, follow that advice rather than ours.

Getting them on

Turn the sock inside out down to the heel, slip your foot in, then roll the leg up. It takes ten seconds and saves a lot of tugging.

Care

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low or hang dry. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibers and shortens the life of the compression knit. No bleach, no ironing.
